Three elements of personality are involved in making a decision to become a Christian, or in making any significant decision for that matter. They are the emotions, the intellect, and the will. Intelligence is something you're born with and passion is having a deep interest in something, which is, in my opinion, more (but not entirely) nature in the nature vs nurture debate. If you can inspire passion in yourself for anything, kudos for you, but I have yet to meet anyone who can. With that said, I would much rather have passion.
